My name is Mary, im the founder of Sugar Kissed Balloons!

I'm a single mother to 3 beautiful kiddos.

I moved to Dallas in 2002 from Venezuela,  and have lived in Rockwall, TX for over 20 years.

In 2018 I fell in love with balloon decor after seeing a random Instagram post my sister showed me of a beautiful Balloon garland.

My daughter's 4th birthday was coming up, and I knew this was exactly what her party needed. So I watched a few videos, and bought the necessary supplies; It then took me about a whole 18 hours to put this thing together without something popping in the middle, forcing me to start all over again. 

I loved the way it turned out, but couldn't figure out why it was so difficult or took me so long because "It's just balloons!". 

I then decided to take the challenge to practice on every upcoming family gathering or holiday, until I could master it.

Thankfully, I decided to post a picture on social media, and someone reached out if I could build something for an upcoming baby shower. 

I can honestly say that I never thought of this as a potential business or anything of the sort as an income. But I truly wanted to master this beautiful craft, so I accepted the job, and after that the requests just started flowing in. I figured it was a fun hobby and a way make a little extra money until I'd get bored of it.

Then, In 2020 when covid hit, I was stuck at home and decided I really needed to promote this a little further into a real business, and not just to make money, but to help so many people that were stuck and home, sad and depressed. If I could help people smile,  specially kiddo's on their special day,  then that was definitely something I needed and wanted to do with my life.

So I invested in yard cards, and started posting more on social media and posted a few ads online and my business took off, and has been increasing beautifully every year since.

I specialize in all things balloons, but we also offer rentals such as backdrops, Light-up marquee's, florals, 7ft Barbie box, etc.

From small parties and family gatherings to weddings and large corporate events, my team and I would love to create something amazing for you!

We're located in Rockwall, but service all surrounding areas! I can't wait to work with you!
